First Tee – Ontario has now found its home in Timmins, ON at Hollinger Golf Club. This season, we will be offering Golf Canada’s junior golf programming over 6 weeks for children aged 7-11. Programming introduces golf to children through interactive, fungames while fostering the development of life skills and healthy habits, too.

First Tee is a youth development program providing life-enhancing experiences to children through golf. First Tee programming is delivered in three accessible settings, at golf courses, schools, and community centres. Golf Canada and First Tee partnered in 2020, and First Tee – Canada programming began in 2021. RBC Community Junior Golf is a funding initiative accelerating the delivery of First Tee across Canada. With RBC’s support, First Tee locations are able to offer programming at no cost. Together, Golf Canada and RBC are striving to break down common barriers that deter youth from playing golf, such as accessibility, affordability, and inclusivity. By the end of 2023, RBC Community Junior Golf will engage more than 10,000 young people by providing free First Tee programming and $5 Youth on Course green fees at select courses from coast to coast.
